As an Account Executive, you will be part of a commercial team that targets innovation-ready retail & e-commerce organizations active in the European market, especially in the Netherlands. You will inform stakeholders, identify & remove barriers for cooperation, structure & negotiate deals.

We'll match your broad set of sale-enabling skills, conviction, and motivation with a team that is eager to demonstrate the ridiculous value of our algorithmic excellence. Such should enable you to establish yourself as a trusted advisor, making your mark at the forefront of a big data & AI revolution in retail & e-commerce.

🚀 What will be part of your responsibilities?

  • Get in touch with C-level stakeholders of ambitious mid-to large-size European retailers;
  • Advise those C-level stakeholders on the opportunities of advanced analytics and AI in their sector, especially in the field of price management, inventory management, and marketing & personalization;
  • Understand the objectives and challenges of the buying committee, and match their specific needs with the solutions we offer;
  • Structure and negotiate the deal, taking all necessary actions to create a clear-cut, value-oozing proposal for cooperation;
  • Identify and remove barriers with the help of your colleagues, convincing stakeholders of the - almost - ridiculous value our team's algorithms create;
  • Close the deal and help prepare the kick-off of the project;
  • Stay up-to-speed with the dynamics in the retail & e-commerce market, and the role advanced analytics & AI play ;
  • Establish meaningful and productive relationships with C-level stakeholders of mid-to large-size retailers, even if they are not ready to purchase just yet;
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and thought partner for C-level stakeholders;
  • Convey learnings from conversations with stakeholders to the marketing team.

Job requirements

🐱‍🚀 What skills are required or can be perfected on the job?

  • You have a BS or MS in Economics, Business or Civil Engineering, Business Administration, AI, Computer Science, Data or Marketing Analysis;
  • You have at least two years of experience in a similar role;
  • You have a strong understanding of and passion for digital products and/or retail/E-commerce;
  • You have excellent communication & negotiation skills;
  • You have a positive attitude and take plenty of initiative;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written);
  • You feel comfortable speaking in public;
  • You have a solid drive, lots of energy, and a go-getter mentality;
  • You naturally convey trust;
  • You are an assertive closer; you drive the deal home.
