In the last couple of years, we’ve experienced an exciting period of growth as the direct result of improved market fit and market adoption. To continue on this trajectory, we’re searching for a Chief of Staff to work closely with our executive team.


In the said role, you will be able to act as a strategic advisor, the CEO’s right-hand person that helps the organization to scale. You’ll help guide initiatives in the right direction and ensure the executive office focuses on the mission-critical tasks at hand. On top of that, you’ll take on specified projects of strategic importance or assist team members assigned with similar projects.


As Chief of Staff, you will also lead growth operations. Your entrepreneurial mindset, your analytical skills, and straightforward communication should be able to guide us through demanding waters, be it sitting at the table with partners, suppliers, or stakeholders in a Series-A round. Your assistance in translating the current state of the organization, vision for the future, and drivers of costs and value is what will enable us to leap forward.

🚀 What will be part of your responsibilities?

You will bear responsibilities in three main domains:


Company Strategy & Business Operations

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO by analyzing business-critical challenges and presenting actionable options;
  • Help manage business goals, priorities, decisions, and actions that should be in the brain space of the CEO;
  • Serve as liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and CEO regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning.

Projects of Strategic Importance

  • Take on specified projects of strategic importance for which no in-house ownership exists;
  • Assist team members with assigned projects of strategic importance, where requested. Such may include assisting the growth team in building a predictable sales engine or the recruitment team in hiring talent;
  • Serve as liaison between CEO, company management, and senior leaders on said projects of strategic importance.

Growth Operations

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our cost structure and our drivers of value. You closely monitor our financial situation and report proactively.
  • Assist in the process of funding our growth. You maintain favorable relations with banks & investors, build our case, draft documents, conduct negotiations and drive due diligence.
  • Help prepare and secure Series-A funding round, coordinating investor relations, financial & legal aspects.

Job requirements

🐱‍🚀 What skills are required or can be perfected on the job?

  • You have an MS in Business or Civil Engineering;
  • You have at least three years of experience in management consulting or prior Chief of Staff roles;
  • You thrive solving challenges in a fast-paced environment confronted with 100% annual growth;
  • You have a strong affinity for digital products and/or retail/E-commerce;
  • You match an entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical & business modeling skills;
  • You have excellent communication skills, enabling your ability to lead through influence;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written);
